TEDxNewYork is an event that celebrates curiosity, ideas, and New Yorkers in an ode to the world's cultural capital. 2016 event brought together 20 brilliant speakers from across disciplines with more than 400 curious and fascinating New Yorkers. Event happened at School of Visual Arts (SVA) Theatre in Chelsea.

At TEDx events, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
